Guy claimed there was $45,000 in an old trading account I had. He wanted to transfer it to my bank account. We was insistant that I do it over the phone with him. He also had my email address so I told him to email me the details so I could review. He wouldn't, said I was wasting his time. I told him he was wasting my time and he hung up.

Guy claimed there was money in an old trading account. Wanted to transfer $45,000 to my bank account. He had my email address. Was insistant that I give him bank information to transfer the money to me. After requesting he email me the details so I could review he said I was wasting his time. I told him he was wasting my time and he hung up.

Scam call reported by SIA User
100% SCAM! A guy called saying he is with Lending Club and that I was approved for a loan. His "simple verification process" was for me to purchase a STEAM card @ Walmart in the amount of what a monthly payment would be (in my case was $100). Tried to convince me that I'd be able to get my money back from the card - supposedly to be included with my $1000 loan I was going to pick up as a Walmart to Walmart transfer! Luckily, I did not fall for his scam and I reported it to the Lending Club since the guy tried to trick me into answering his call as he made it look like that company actually called me since I blocked his number. I also reported it to my states attorney general office.
