A women called and said "Is this X" X being my first name if I was the person speaking, which got me very concerned and worried. I said yes to her and she proceeded to talk about signing up for this credit report and some shenanigen about identity theft. Moments later, she asked me to confirm my first and last name, to which I hung up. Caution: Some of your personal details such as your name must be known to these "telemarketers", dont fall for it.

This number called me and when I said hello it went from a female's voice to a man's. I already knew something was up. He then started telling me there's a service for $20 that can give me my credit report and credit score which protects me from identity theft. I said I'm not interested and he repeats it again saying I have nothing to lose. I ended up saying "NO MEANS NO" and I hung up.

What caught me off guard immediately was when I said Hello, a man answered back and then when I said Hello again, it switched to a lady's voice. She claimed to work with TD and was offering a service for protecting people from identity theft. However, there was no indication that this was TD's official number. When I asked more questions, she hung up.
