IRS saying I am going to jail, 6 mos, for not paying taxes (Scam call) reported by


A message was left and said to call back or you'll go to jail. I told him that I was going to transfer him to the local sheriffs offfice, he is a foreigner, and hung up. I called him back and he is the same person but said it was IRS. I wanted to get more info but he claimed he couldn't here me and that I was breaking up and the call ended. TRUE SCAM!!!!!!!

Left a message to call back saying if I didn't I would be arrested. Interestingly this is not the number that showed up on my caller ID which said it was +41 94 964 06 2 (Switzerland). Same numbers, just typed differently.

Wants debit card or prepaid card for irs debt. Very threatening cussed at me told me when he gets his hands on me I will be sorry. It's a foreigner the accent tells you all you need to know.

Called with a recording that there is a lawsuit in my name...we all know the IRS does not call but sends letters!

This number left a voice message on my phone mail that I was under investigation for IRS fraud, and might be subject to immediate arrest! This is not the first time, either -- have had the same voice message on phone mail for another phone I own. Like T. M., I know that IRS sends letters in such cases. I know that this is a scam, and I appreciate being able to make this negative review.
