This is a scam! They were pretending to be “quality auto insurance” (sounds fake) save me hundreds.. they started by saying “I’m calling to talk to you about your car ins payment” (which I have on auto payment, so there’s zero chance they need to talk to me about it) I started to challenge her and she hung up. I called right back! She started the shpeal all over, I resumed my questions and she hung up again! Just to be ornery, I called again and it was disconnected! Cheap scam, not believable by most but I fear for the elderly and more vulnerable folks

Called my cell and the area code was familiar so I thought maybe it was someone I knew and I answered. First she says she's calling from my car insurance about my bill, then gives me a company name I never even heard of. I already paid for my insurance for the next 6 months which set off red flags. I asked if she had the right number, and she changed her story and said she was with Farmers insurance. I told her that's not my provider either and she tells me she can get me a quote to get a better deal and starts reading her canned sales stuff (you can tell when they start reading stuff like that since they go into this... sales cadence..) so I tell her I don't have the minutes for this (which I really don't) and I hung up and blocked her.

Some person called me today however, I didn't pick up because I had recognized the number before. 2 weeks ago this woman called asking for info so she could get me car insurance, she also said she was from state-farm... she rudely hung up on me when I said I didn't have a car.

Woman spoke. Said she was from Quality Insurance and wanted to obtain payment on behalf of State Farm. Told her I don't use State Farm and that I will report this. She hung up immediately.

I just got the same, but she was collecting for Farmers which wasn't my insurance. When I told her I wasn't with Quality or Farmers, she tried to sell me insurance!

Called me from "Quality Insurance" needing to speak to me about my insurance payment. I said I didn't use Quality Insurance. He said - "We actually work with State Farm".... thinking he could get me to talk to him about giving him a payment. I said "I don't use State Farm so this call is pointless". Then he was kinda like "oh..." and hung up. Scammers trying to steal payment info.

Insurance AND credit card scams. Been called several times by this number. The first 2 times I answered. First time they claimed to be from "credit card services." Second time they said they were insurance service... whatever that is.
