This company started calling me about a month ago, never leaving a message, just silence on the VM. I tried calling them back to always be hung up on; I decided to block their number so at least my phone wasn't ringing non-stop. So last night after the 6th call from them I called back after hours and the options are different than during business hours. I selected the option for "Let us know if we are calling the wrong number" and requested that my number be removed since all they could seem to do was hang up and leave no voicemails. Today, again 3 calls in, 2 back to back to each other I decided I was going to call until I spoke with an actual human. The woman answering, mumbled something and put me on hold, to only come back a few seconds later to mumble again. When I asked how to I get my number removed she immediately hung up. I called a second time, repeat of the above, third time, it's the same again! On my fourth call I get a young lady whom I can at least understand. when I explained that I'd left a voicemail yesterday she says "That's strange there are no notes of that, but let me fix that for you." I ask who they were trying to reach, she then says "I've removed your number Mrs ? (long pause)" and I said it wasn't necessary to know only know that I wasn't the person they were trying to reach (I've only had my number about 6 months and had numerous companies trying to reach the last owner of the number). She then tells me "Mrs. ___? (long pause again) I can remove you from my department but unfortunately we have more than one department trying to reach ________ & ________. I can add notes to the departments but can't remove your number from their files" So I ask aren't they all the same company and after saying yes transfers me to the next department to start the process over. Next woman refused to speak with me unless I verify my name, phone number and address. When I laugh and said that's not happening, she hangs up on me.

Refused all questions by me. Said call was being recorded. But they couldn't say who they were to anyone but who they were calling (me but I asked about them before I said it was me) because of privacy laws. I owe $0 on anything. Always current. Called my cell which very few people have.

Calls several times a week. They say they're a debt collector and a looking for _______. Sound like they are located in a food court because of all the background noise. When asked questions, there is a lot of stuttering and unclear answers. I receive calls at weird times a day.
