Allied Interstate (Debt collector) reported by

NoName

This debt collector, Allied Interstate, calls me several times a day from different phone numbers, and I’ve gotten a few letters from them too. From one of the letters, I found out that they apparently represent the company that owns the biggest chunk of my (delinquent) student loans. Years ago I’d actually talk to them & explain my situation, but they’d still continue calling & I’d have to retell the whole story. After about 3 times doing that, I just stopped answering any #s I wasn’t familiar with. Unfortunately the law is that if you have been a ‘client/customer’ of a business, they can legally call you, so not much to be done about that. Hope this helps :)
