A recorded woman’s voice says “Company has been ordered to close down please call our toll free number 844-386-85xx to get your refund. Repeating again 844-386-85xx thank you." They have my mother’s and my numbers because they hacked her computer and told her some crazy story that she had to pay $600 as a “special senior citizen rate” to fix her laptop or she would lose everything and would infect every other computer in her assisted living home facility. It took a lot of work to get her money refunded but since they operate out of the country and work thru the Dark Web, they avoid getting caught and prosecuted. Still, you should report every call to your local FBI branch.
