I have no idea who the person is they keep asking to speak with. I've told them many times I'm not the guy and I don't know him. I just keep blocking their numbers (how many do they have?) when they call.

credit collection scam. gave fake website and company. (Scam call) reported by


Caller identified as being with Portfolio Recovery Review, he gave me a website "PRA.com" and told me his name was Chad - gave details about an old credit account I paid off and closed 1.5 years ago. Used details from an old bill to try and establish that I still owed on the account. After calling out some discrepancies in his information he said he'd file a dispute and hung up. I called the number back and it rang through to Portfolio Recovery Review (a real debt collection company) but they had no record for me. Someone is spoofing their number and pretending to be a debt collector. POTENTIAL SCAM!

computer virus scam. they try to get you to log on to their website so they can "fix" "viruses" on your computer. but once you give them remote access they compromise your system and charge you money to fix the problems they caused.
