Fake IRS Federal Charges (Robocall) reported by


The robo message says I have 4 federal charges pending against me and I must call back urgently or they will have the local authorities arrest me. This is a Kentucky number. I called back. Someone, refusing to identify himself said it was the IRS. I told him the IRS is in Philadelphia, please let me know what this company's name is. He repeated it was the IRS. I repeated what I said. He said he would prove it ... then hung up on me.

Same EXACT call. Two days in a row. No local "cops" although law enforcement would never call themselves "cops". They have stopped identifying themselves as the IRS. It seems they have figured out we know the IRS is in Philadelphia and not Bedford, Kentucky. Now they chose not to identify themselves at all. Block this number. Empty threats and multiple calls on multiple days with no local law enforcement showing up.
