Broken English call phishing for my SS number (Scam call) reported by


He would not tell where he was calling from or the real nature of his call. He said he had a reference number. He told me what it was and asked if the number matched my SS number. When I started questioning him he told me he could not devulge information. I hung up at that point.

They called me to collect the money I owe to the hospital money from my last service in 2012. They were threatening me that my credit history will be damaged because I owe. It was pretty fishy that a 2012 service was neglected for 6 years before sending it out to a debt collector.

I receive several calls from this number. I called back today to see who it is. After being on hold for a couple minutes, they answer, but don't identify the company. I said I wanted my information updated in their system. They asked if my name was Sidney. I said no and I was wanting my number off their list. They hung up on me.

Calls all times of the day. No one says anything when I answer or asks for some random name. Never leaves a message. You would think they would get tired of calling a number that won't answer but they don't. Sounds like a telemarketer or a scam.

They would not tell me anything. just kept asking me my name (Debt collector) reported by


this lady named ella callled me and kept asking me for my name. i asked her what company she was calling from but she said i cannot tell you anything unless you confirm your identitiy first so i said you're the one calling me but you cant tell me anything. then "ella" hung up on me. I just blocked that number from my phone. probably a scam anyway
