Claimed they were from Google Connect. Never got details on how much because I asked for email which never came. Suspect this is a scam.

They're not a scam, and they don't pretend to be Google either. They're a "Google Certified Partner". They sell and maintain Google Ad accounts. They also build websites and do SEO. They built my website and run my AdWords account. They have solid account managers and a reliable customer service team. If you're gonna run ads I would recommend using them.

Said they worked for "Google Partnership in Adventure Media" or something, made it sound like they worked for Google. They wanted to charge a bit more than normal Google fees to be one of the ads for Googling keywords for Real Estate in my area.

Telemarketer, sounds good, but you can tell the person is reading a script. Maybe they are for real, maybe not. Their pitch makes it sound like there is something new and great for you. Probably not worth your time of day.
