Reference check questionable (Call centre) reported by

They called with a caller id of "Portland Oregon." They told me that I was listed as a reference for a person that I've never heard of. I said that I didn't know that person and they ended the call. They never identified who they were. A strange call.

Maria Said they were trying to serve me papers. I said if you were then you'd be here doing so not calling trying to get info. Then I said dont call. She stated my age. She started getting aggressive and then said she will continue to call me. She did again a minute later. I got a crappy vm. Then got calls from family members saying they were also being harrassed to give them my info.

Charges filed (Scam call) reported by

Stated that they would be down to my work work arrest me in the next half hour, when I asked for what she laughed at me and said I can't believe you don't know anything about this. When asked to call her back she stated she was with the government, but wouldn't give a call back number. When I called the number back just rang and rang. Ended telling them I will see them when they get here and hung up

Legal claim (Scam call) reported by

Spotted off the first name of someone with my last name & wanted my credit card information to help get them out of legal trouble. He said something about this fictional person listing me as next of kin and needing my help right away before they had to go into court. I hung up.
