Automated call- Claimed to be the IRS and there was a lawsuit against me. Called 3 times within 1 afternoon. asked for a call back.

Called twice and left 2 messages. Said there was a lawsuit and an arrest warrant issued for me from IRS. Said I had been audited and underpaid taxes for 4 years. "Officer Mike Hiller" said that they had sent 2 certified letters that had been returned and that this was my last chance to avoid jail. Also said that the conversation was being recorded for federal use.

The call said we are being sued by the IRS. When I called the guy answered "hello" only. He then told me he is a case officer. Sounds like a scam to me. How did they get my number?

Received a pre-recorded call asking to call back, I did and they claim that they are from the IRS and that if you don't pay they are going to send an officer and arrest you.

The recorded call claimed to be from the IRS and wanted a call back. Very suspicious since the IRS does not contact you by phone.
