Computer generated voice indicated that this was a last chance to return the call to the IRS before proceedings would start against us. This game's been going on for so long I just didn't even answer the phone let it go to voicemail.

Claiming to be IRS threatening to sue. (Scam call) reported by


They called and left a message with a number and stating that it was the final notice that we are being sued by the IRS and to call the number to get details. Kinda funny since we don't owe the IRS anything. It's also funny that I have heard about this scan multiple times. What DOES make me mad is the older people that get scammed because they don't know.

I called the number back twice. First time, the person who answered identified himself as Officer Max with the IRS. The second time, same person hesitated then identified himself as Officer James. I could also hear other people answering calls in the background.
