Veterans home buying assistance for a referral fee (Non-profit Organization) reported by


They are targeting Real Estate Agents, it is a call center, wanted to know if I wanted new clients. They claim they are a Veterans mortgage assistance company and did I want leads. I blocked them as these companies usually want a sky high referral fee and due to the current RE market, most sellers are not even accepting VA loans. Cash is ruling the Real Estate homebuying process right now, unfortunately.

Claimed to be : “Phoenix Financial services” (Debt collector) reported by


Claimed to be : “Phoenix Financial services” debt collection agency for Emergency physicians(creditor). I’ve received several calls from them recently from different telephone numbers. This was the most recent call: The rep. was rude. He wanted to collect on a “past” debt, I had no idea what he was speaking of. He had my name, DOB & last 4 of my SS#. Stated it was a debt from 2014 (we’re in 2019) I refused to verify any info, he stated “ok, well looks as though you’re playing games and refuse to pay.” I said I didn’t feel comfortable paying anything I wasn’t sure who/what it was for. He then disconnected the call. I called back and asked the second rep to send a mailed statement, he refused. Stated “we’ll you've already told us you’re not going to pay so why would I waste a letter & stamp on you. We removed you from getting calls. Take care” line disconnected. I believe it’s spam/ fraudulent callers. Beware!
