Another thing to know- Texas has Statute of Limitations laws. Most debts over 4 years old (ie from the last payment made or last promise to pay) cannot be collected on (except federal & state student loans or IRS). Doesn't mean they won't try or threaten you with legal action, because they will. IF they were to try and sue, you would just need to inform the court that the debt is older than 48 months and it will be dismissed. To keep that Statute of Limitations going NEVER make a payment, a payment arrangement or even speak with them as you get close to or are over the 4 year mark. They can and will lie saying you spoke on the phone (which they will have a record of) and offered to pay, so only send mail stating that under Texas law your debt is over 4 years old and to cease and desist all collection efforts (they can still try and it's legal but every now and then they will stop). Nothing more. Because IF you promise a payment or make a payment the statute of limitations clock starts over to day 1.

Scared me in to paying last month and setting up a payment arrangement saying I would be served. I since found out from another collection agency that these are bought debts with no proof. I canceled my debit card. Called today when 2nd payment declined and got upset when I said I would not pay over the phone. They could contact me thru the mail. She said she could do an investigation into my income and contact my employer. I'm the payroll clerk. I know what can be wage garnished in the state of Texas. I would be the one to do it! Bring it on people. I'm tired of stressing over 8 year old debts that I most likely already paid off.

Scam payday loan inpact medation not licensed in texas trying to collect for wtj capital llc wont give any info on your account. The number they gave me to the corporate offices whent to a lady in Mississippi who had dealings with them in 2015 BEWARE SCAM
