Allegedly I am out of compliance with a student loan. Funny thing is I dont have a loan, haven't cosigned on one BUT I get 2 to 3 calls daily about this.

They didn't bother with calling. Instead, they dropped a message directly into my voice mail. My student loans were paid off years ago, so an obvious scam but I'm a legit telemarketer and know the rules... I called back anyway. They asked about my student loans and I immediately asked to speak to a supervisor. (Being a telemarketer myself for a reputable company, never be afraid to ask for a supervisor. Any worth-while company/employee will do as you've asked if one is available!) I was hung up on... so, of course, I called right back and got another person. Same response! Now when I call back, they send ME to voice mail. LOL. Turn the tide on these scammers; they give telemarketers like me, WHO CALL FOR LEGITIMATE PURPOSES, a bad name. NEVER be afraid to ask questions!

Called the number back because I was confused about why I was being called. I explained that an was put in a conference call with a third party. When I said "My federal student loans are currently in IBR" I was "kicked off the conference" according to their disconnection message. Note to all studens or those with educational debt; if you use the official vernacular pertaining to your loans they give up; briefly. Prove to them you're as smart or smarter than all those digits, behind the $, you may owe. I'm reporting this number to the FCC.

Really rude and combative when I told her to remove my number because I was on the Do Not Call list. Trying to scam with some student loan forgiveness thing. I have never had student loan debt.

First they left a message (a real human, not robocall) but I couldn't understand the message well as it was indistinct so I phoned the number back to see why they called. They started by asking me for some sort of number (no idea what they were talking about) and when I said I dont know what that means they started with a pitch to do with student loans and then I said I dont have a student loan and never have and am a senior citizen - why are you calling me? They said well did I ever co-sign? Nope. Then I said I have had a couple of these calls before and why are you people calling me and they mumbled something about doing something or other to detach my phone number from the file (whatever that is) and when I asked what file? they hung up on me.
