Possible scam - debt collector posing (Scam call) reported by


Answered and got an agent. He said he was representing debt collecting for Fido. I told him I've never had a fido account, and he immediately started to get rude and asking for my birth year. He told me the date of the debt was a year I wasnt even living in Canada. He threatened that he would keep calling night and day until I confirmed my birth year. I blocked the number ❤️

First of all i got a lady who said they were from BMO. repeatedly told me she was going to transfer me before doing so, after, an aggressive sounding woman started talking to me and asked in her words "can you please confirm ONLY your date of birth" when i said i wasn't comfortable sharing that she said "okay" and hung up. No formality just, poof, gone.
