B.S. call (Robocall) reported by


It starts with a computer but quickly switches to a live person. We answer the phone but pretend we are a business. e.i. I pick up the phone and say, "Good morning, this is (insert any first name) Debra, with Walgreens, how may I direct your call?" Then they either hang up or say, "I've reached a business?" After I say, "Yes, this is Walgreens" then they hang up. After I answered the phone once, saying it was the Public Library, the lady started in on trying to sell me something, but I kept interrupting her with, "What business do you have with the public library?" She finally hung up. My sister and I have been having fun making up various businesses. Every time we see Blairsburg come up on caller i.d. we just start laughing and see who gets to the phone first. Caller i.d. is displayed on all of our t.v.s so we don't have to have the landline in our hand to know who's calling. I guess we just like messing around with them. Being stuck in a house during record breaking freezing temperatures, you have to find other ways of entertaining yourself, lol. I must admit, we're actually having fun. It's my advice to anyone else who has been suffering from -50°F with windchill, and being advised by the news not to leave the house, if not necessary. Or just do what most people do, don't answer the phone.
