Somehow got my cell no. of which I'm very protective. Have been ignoring the calls, but they have made several attempts within the past month. Hopefully they'll give up. I'm sure it's a scam of some kind!

They called several times. Say they are an antivirus outfit and they need to run a program on my computer. I told her I wasn't interested and hung up. I am sure this is a scam.

This number calls me 3-4 times a day. I blocked it weeks ago, but they still call. Today, I called the number back. They must have caller id, cause they answered with my name. They informed me that I have purchased a virus protection, in the past, and they needed me to let them run a program on my computer. I told him, I am NOT interested and to stop calling me. He hung up. Beware: they want you to give them control of your computer. SCAM!

Caller claims that there was a major hack of Yahoo, so they are offering a free update of our antivirus software. Probably an attempt to load a trojan onto our computer to steal information.
