Recording said this was a courtesy call in advance of papers being filed against me for unpaid balances and I was to call back to a 202 number and give them an account number they speeled off. I didn't call the 202 # but I did re-dial the 502 number that called and the lady answered with 'hold a minute'...I held for a few minutes to see if she was going to pick up the phone to speak to me, when she didn't I hung up...From the other reviews I read here, this is typical SCAM BS!

Woman ID'd herself as Janeane & said she was courtesy calling to make settlement arrangements to keep a lien from being filed against my SSN. I was intrigued, as I haven't had any debts for years & asked her to confirm my SSN as it may simply be mistaken identity, refused. *RIP OFF SCHEME* She then went on to refuse her last name, refused ID of whom she is employed & name of supervisor & even the ID of the party owed these so-called damages, the amount of which she also refused - she kept trying to speak over me & used basic pre Fair Debt Collection Practices Act raising her voice exponentially to yell veiled threats of lawsuits, liens & garnishment. I was looking up this phone number while we spoke. As it is clearly an attempt to scare me into paying off a made up debt, I put her scream session on speaker which scared the bejeezus out of my Rottweiler & Mastiff, who returned the favor with some ear shattering hellhound barking. Her shocked silence was long enough for me to give her my attorney's name & number & wish her a pleasant weekend before I disconnected. PLEASE DO NOT give nor confirm any information to any unsolicited call without first obtaining & VERIFYING the person & company calling, their location & toll free number, whom they represent, the purpose of the call - basically ALL the information someone legitimately working to reach a debt settlement would be delighted to give.

Doubt very much these are lawyers. Very rude and unprofessional. Started off making it unclear if they were trying to be my lawyer or working for the creditor. Then they said they were working for the creditor, when I said they should have made that clear, the **** hung up on me. I called back, and spoke to new ****, different ****, who raised her voice repeatedly to talk over me, then told me to expect a process server as I was being sued. I explained I was fighting cancer and that I could not be collected via a judgement as there is nothing to attach it to-and she yelled even louder at me, to which she got a dial tone. Pretty sure no lawyer's office would behave this way. I think it is an aggressive tactic to get someone to pay as to try to scare them. Garbage humans.

This number called ask for a person I do not know it was a robocall. It stated that they were filing state documents against the person and needed to confirm the address. I hung up as I am not that person

I work for a large state university and we received a call from this number today. There was a recording that asked for Patrick - We have no one by that name working or attending here. Gave me 1-855-764-8926 to call back, but I pressed 0. Spoke to a woman and advised her that this was a business line. She said she would remove our number from their system (they all say that, but it rarely happens).
