This number has called twice this week. They know the street where I live and the approximate amount of the mortgage. They suggest that I have inquired about refinancing, which I have most certainly NOT. Additionally, I am not actually on the mortgage, so NO. The caller was very persistent. I asked where he got my number, and he made up some crap about my inquiries. I ended up sternly telling him to remove my number from his list and hung up on him. Curse these jerks.

This number has called my work number several times, never leaving a voicemail. Today I was available to answer the call. The man on the line stated my name, followed by "this is (insert unintelligble name) on a recorded line. Do you still owe $xxx on your property on (insert street name)" 1. This call was on my work line, not a number I handout for other purposes. 2. The amount I owe was incorrect. 3. I have not requested any information on refi or principal loans. I only speak with my mortgage holder if there is a question on the escrow account.
