Gave first name only asking for the owner. Working IDS in our local area with other trade companies like ours in the USA. When the owner was not available, no further message and would call back later. Scammer, probably...

Solicitor (Call centre) reported by

Called looking for my supervisor, asked for him by first name only. When I informed him that my sup. was unavailable, he asked for the "owner" of the business. As a large corporation, this request is typically a red flag. I communicated to him that my sup. is the appropriate person to talk to, and asked the nature of his call so that I can take a message. He said his first name, and told me he works for "IDS" in Lake Worth, FL. (We are in Palm Beach, FL.) He wants to "schedule a meeting" with my sup., no further details. No Google results for IDS in Lake Worth. He declined to leave a phone number and declined voicemail-insisted he would call back. Cold Caller-yes. Scam? Probably.
