Pretending to initiate a legal proceeding against me calling me on my cell phone which is a private number. Yes, they spoofed a local number here as well then gave the Florida number with a reference code to contact them. Glad this info is here as they sounded very official.

the scammer spoofed a local phone number to get me to answer. it's a computer generated message saying there is a pending case against me and to call them back using a reference number or press 1 to speak with someone directly. I pressed 1, was placed on hold, then I was hung up on without ever speaking to a real person. Let's see if they call me back. I am willing to mess with these type of people.

Called back . Saying a litigation for a owed debt (Debt collector) reported by


They called 3 times back to back. They left a voicemail saying with an automated voice saying there was a.pending matter and to call a number with my reference number. They said it did not work. Than he proceeded to tell me that I owed a debt to a credit card.. that i know i had paid off years ago. I questioned the man asking for more information.. he started to become agitated because o would not pay over the phone. He ended up hanging up on me because I asked for the company's name address and that i wanted to speak with someone else. He hung up. SCAM

Thank you for pursuing the matter. The recorded VM is designed to sound like the name of the company was accidentally cut off. But it's the same VM every time with no company name.
