I got a voice message so I called back and the call center person claimed that it was Microsoft issuing some kinds of refunds. Asked him what the nature of the refund was and where on their official website that was announced. He mumbled in Indian accent and said you want Bill Gates to come to your house to refund the money? I asked him to connect me to his supervisor then his response was he is now sleeping on the floor. I hung up after that nonsense. For a scammer, they are pretty bad... Couldn't even pass with two simple questions.

Business closing-microsoft refund (Scam call) reported by


Foreign person saying they are from microsoft windows which is closing and refunding me money. How much did I spend on my pc. When I questioned them they hung up. They want my info and I am sure a bank number to deposit my refund. Total scam. If i had a refund coming they would have my info and just mail out a check.
