This person is running a cashier cheque scam on online marketplaces (e.g. Kijiji). Claim they have ALS and can only use cashier cheques for payment. They will then send you a fraudulent check that they will ask you for more than the amount requested. They ask you to pay the movers directly with the excess funds. By the time the cheque has been flagges as fraudulent, you've paid the movers and they've taken your furniture, for example.

Sent to voicemail. Mo, a fast talker, gave us our record number for wholesale conversion from IPS. Loud background noise. Will threaten with FCC report if they call again. Reporting does work.

I RECEIVED THE PHONE CALL, ANSWERED AND WAS ADDRESSED BY A WOMAN WHO IDENTIFIED HER COMPANY BUT FAILED TO IDENTIFY HERSELF. SHE REQUESTED TO SPEAK WITH OUR BUSINESS OWNER. I RELAYED THAT HE WAS NOT AVAILABLE, BUT MAYBE I COULD HELP HER AND SHE SIMPLY DISCONNECTED THE PHONE CALL. I RETURNED A CALL BACK TO THAT NUMBER, WHICH WAS FIELDED, AND ENDED UP IN VOICEMAIL.

IPS "Wholesale conversion, slated to begin next week" When in fact, there has been no request for anything from said company. Either phishing for information, or overly aggressive and deceptive sales call which means they are not to be trusted and are more likely to scam you out of money than provide a service.

Message was left by "Dave" from IPS or IPF with our "record number" about our "conversion next week". We have never heard of this company and have nothing that we're converting. If you call them back, they want YOU to leave a message! (I called back from a totally different phone number.)

Two Different People called on this number two days apart. Asked for owner. Said it was IPS or IBS re Wholesale Conversion Week. We did not request and do not want.
