The phone was answered by a man, talking so fast that I could barely understand him. I made him repeat who was sponsoring the fundraiser. When he said AZFOP, I told him that my daughter is a veteran police officer in Arizona so I'd just have HER call him back. CLICK! ????

Claimed to be raising donations for police but I am a cop myself. (Non-profit Organization) reported by


A guy called my Las Vegas based cell phone (702 area code) number from this 602 area coded number (602 is for Phoenix metro), said was raising donations for the police in Arizona. I told him I too am AZ police certified (True story and I live in AZ) and asked him not to call me any longer. He apologized for interrupting my morning. I have donated to these types of non-profit (I have a AZ "fallen police officer" license plate for example) but not sure if that's why he called me or was a random solicitation.
