They left a message saying they were mediation services and that I had a pending court case in their office. If I did not call them back they would send my case to court and I needed to have my lawyer speak to their lawyer. They never said my name once the entire message. They also didn't give a case # or reference # for calling back.

Highly Sophisticated but stupid (Scam call) reported by


Sounds highly sophisticated but wrong on a few levels. Pass themselves off as Brian Hatch & Associates. I have nothing in debt collection, so it's easier for me to catch these. I have not received anything in the mail. So it's claiming to be this highly automated call center. He doesn't know what number he called. He says he has no way of tracking who he just called he was asking for my number. He kept asking my number. He woke me up, so he was calling too early for a debt collector. A legit outfit would have known who they are calling. I kept saying "you tell me what's my number, you called me." I said I'll just wait for something in writing. But again I have no debt collection worries and it's impossible they cannot track who they are calling. I won't try to call them back as then they may have a caller ID. Highly sophisticated scammers with no real accent, which could be a modified voice. I almost gave them my info to be taken off contact list. But I am sure real debt collectors cannot robot blast not knowing who they called. Again I am not behind on anything and I haven't received anything in the mail. Real debt collectors handle things by the US Postal Service. Again them not knowing who they are calling is a red flag.

I got calls from that same number 603-288-0282. It was a man Named Melvin saying he was from Brian Hatch & Associates. I knew instantly it was not real and that it was for sure a scam because I only have an old medical bill in collections and I know the agency who handles it, and it isn’t the one calling from this one. Block and avoid this number! It is deff a scam. I also got a text from a different number ****(603) 413-6648‬. This is the text: This is Melvin I’m trying to get in touch with (****** *********). Please give me a call at 603-288-0282 Thanks its regarding a personal business matter. (I blocked the name out for security reasons)
