NH Troopers Association (Scam call) reported by


Caller said his name was Ian and he was calling on behalf of the NH Troopers Association Benevolent Fundraiser. He said that they were raising money for line of duty deaths and then in his next breath he said they were also raising money for youth to be able to fight the Opioid Epidemic. He asked if the Troopers could count on me and that they would send me a packet for the Gold, Silver or Bronze donation. I said that I did not have any extra money and then he said "well can't you do the Bronze donation, it is only $40 and that's not much money!" I said "NO" and hung up. This sounded too suspicious so I googled the NH Troopers Association and they are not doing such a fundraiser and I am glad that I said "NO"...please be aware that this is a SCAM!
