When the answering machine picked up, a robotic voice said my Windows computer had been compromised, and to press 1 to connect to the security team. This is one of many tech support scams flooding the phone lines. Microsoft Windows Scammer (Robocall) reported by


I just got this call and they left a voicemail through an automated response thing, the voice sounded robotic, as if done through a cheap computer program. It said that there was an error in windows and that if I was the one using windows to call them immediately or else my personal information could be taken and my computer hacked.
