LEGIT. BEST BUY. I ordered an ipad a couple days ago, and I just received a call from this number. I didn't answer bc I didn't know the number, and instead looked it up. I saw the responses were saying it was best buy for large orders, and realized that made perfect sense. They called back immediately, and I answered. I got a human, and she asked me my name, and if I had ordered an ipad. I confirmed and she thanked me, informing me that the transaction went through and that I would receive a confirmation email shortly.

Called to confirm a purchase I made online at Bestbuy.com. He accurately described the order I had made and then asked to confirm my date of birth, which I gave him. Did not ask for any other information and said thank you, your order will be processed. About 5 minutes later I got an email that the order was approved.

Asked to confirm my address. But i had to ask 4 times what she was saying because her accent was so thivk. Then she asked my date if birth. Which is irrelevant to my purchase. This raised red flags and i told her as much and that she didnt beed that information. She told me she would be processing my order and i would be getting an enail confirming as much.

I also received a call from this number wanting to confirm a purchase. It sounded suspicious so I checked this number with Best Buy's CitiBank ID Theft and Fraud Dept. They verified that this number is one of theirs. They check on orders that appear fraudulent. They must be using a call center from India or something because the callers seem to be causing undue stress with their way of talking to people. I think BB should better train these people so they aren't scaring the life out of us.
