Fishing for Personal Information and Pretending to be from Bell (Scam call) reported by


Definitely a Spam Number, they provided information about the company, as pulled off Google. The man named Mike (with an Indian Accent) then said they were offering us 30% Discount off of our phone bill with Bell Canada. They then asked my name and asked if I was an employee of the business. I gave them a fake name just to see where they were going with this and then he transferred me to the his manager. The manager's name was Alex (with an Indian Accent) with a "Bell ID" of "BC7011". He said that the program would be with Reliance which is associated with Bell. He wanted to verify that I was an employee of this business by asking my date of birth. That was when I told him I'm not providing that over the phone to a number with a 614 area code and he proceeded to hang up.

Called from "Telus" when below said "Bell Canada" (Scam call) reported by


Says he is calling from Telus and would like to give us a 30% discount for being a loyal customer. Our business is with another company. He asked for our fax number so he could fax us more information on this deal. Luckily our call got cut out as the connection wasn't the greatest.

Calls daily. He is all chatty and asks me how I am doing. He tells me that he is from Bell Canada and because we pay our bills on time they want to reward us with a 30% discount. That would be great if we were a customer of Bell Canada. Our phones are with another company. I am starting to hang up on him but he keeps calling back the next day.
