Law Firm Claim False (Telemarketer) reported by


The man on the phone said he was from this law firm and there was a personal issue where I was involved but he would not tell me how. He then asked for my full name, last 4 digits of my SSN, and My mailing address. I would not give him anything. I asked if he was who he was then, did they send a certified letter to my house? He said they tried...Then I knew he was a scammer. I said, No you didn't because this is a joke. He then tried again to get certain info from me...which was his objective....I played a bit on the phone with him to **** him off then hung up on him.

As I said above, when I asked to take a message she acted exasperated and hung up. We do not have outstanding debt. Not sure what they were after. The number then called back and hung up when I answered.

Called asking for me but would not let me know what they were calling about unless I verify the last 4 of my social, address and dob. The only thing they can tell me is it’s about a claim against me. They’ve been calling me for weeks on different numbers. I would not give out my information to anyone who calls me, especially if they can’t give me ANY info until I do.

Pretending to be a law firm, when questioned, they refused to give any info on the name of said firm, nor any info regarding why they're calling. Would only request personal info like birthdate, address and prior addresses etc... total scammers. Do NOT GIVE THEM ANY PERSONAL INFO!!!!!
