Dangerous scam! IRS NEVER calls anyone without a prior conference call being scheduled, and they can't issue an arrest warrant themselves, since they are not a law enforcement agency.

Received a call from number 615-249-0856. When you answer the call it is a recording stating that it is the IRS and they are filing a fraud case against you and issuing a warrant for arrest. They then instruct you to call the number back for more information without providing any specific case information. When calling the number back they will answer 'IRS Fraud Department' and ask what you are calling in regards to. The questions they ask at first are stupid: "Did you receive a call" Yes "What was the recording regarding" Fraud "When did you receive the call" just now "At what time was that" literally 2 minutes ago "And what time was that" look at your clock.... After the stupid questions come the scam questions "Where you given a case ID" No "Please provide me with your name and ssn so I can look you up in the system" No, please give me more information. What is the physical location of your offices? "Ma'am, if you're suspicious I can give you my name and badge number" Yes I'm suspicious but I would like to know what IRS office you are located at.... *CLICK*
