Robocall. Told me it's private "financial matter" and I pushed 0 to answer since it used my full name. The man "Mr Johnson" told me the call is recorded. Then said they are a "mediation firm". I asked if this is concerning a debt or creditor. I informed him for any financial or mediation concerning a dent collection, I do have an attorney who represents me since I became disabled and not working. However they get pushy and want last 4 of social security number! I told them I will not give them personal information over the phone since they are not telling me what this is specifically about. They refused to take my attorney information and continue to ask me to provide personal information. I'm used to legit collectors calling me and the law requires then to take the lawyer info, my client number with my attorney, and attorney address and phone number, email, etc. Legitimate collection agencies are required to tell you who the original debt,if any,belonged to, required to take the attorney info,them requires them by law to stop calling.Therefore I must assume this number is some type of scam.they record your personal information,will not take attorney info,act indignant,and seem to try to intimidate one into devulging further personal information they do not have. Since they only say it's "a financial matter" and they represent a "mediation company" and will not tell you more unless you tell them first,I cannot say for certain what it is but assume this is a scam of some sort such as illegitimate debt collection or illegitimate telemarketer trying to gain access to further personal information. They have some already!! They want you to give them the rest by intimidating you (raised voice) or demands - threaten to send someone to your workplace or home - this is as if they will supoena you - but they don't !! It's an empty threat. However they do ask some yes or no questions and they are recording your response. These may also be tactics to influence you to verify inf
