Credit Card Scam (Telemarketer) reported by


Robo Called me today 02/13/18 and asked Press 1 to be connected or press 9 to be removed. I pressed 9 and got connected to a real person. They wanted to know how much debit I had and offered to reduce my interest rate. They wanted to know the experation on my credit card and then wanted to know the digits. I said I wanted to know the company name. They said - "Credit Card Services". They were offering an interest rate starting at 6.99%. I asked for a call back number and they hung up. Caller ID: UNKNOWN NAME 631-230-0351

It's Credit Card "Service" as in rancher's parlance: A bull "services" a cow. They want to "service" your credit card in the same way.

I did not initially answer but later called back. A recording came and it said "you don't have enough credit" and then the line hung up
