Didn't answer because I don't know anyone from NY. Left a message stating that a case has been filed against me for tax fraud- same gist as everyone else. According to the voicemail translator Officer Steve Parker was calling to inform me that they have received legal petition notice concerning a tax fraud. Anyhoo, I'm a good tax-paying citizen and will ignore but good to know everyone else is getting the same message- much less worrisome.

The IRS is not going to call you they send a letter, I didn't answer this call from NYC it left a message, since I have received these type of calls before I knew it was fake ,but I like to mess with them back. so I let them go on with their script and asked how I could resolve because they said I owe $3000 but they said in 30mins I was going to be arrested without a bail. first of all the IRS is always gonna wanna resolve a debt, second they send a letter most likely certified so they know it was received . As soon as I notified them that I knew this was a fraudulent call they hung up on me. Please let people know about this scam its obvious people are still falling for it or they would not continue to try an deceive people.There are some other numbers they try and call from but they are all scam artists .

7/28/2017 received phone call on my landline phone at noon today Pacific standard time these **** are calling from new York eastern standard time so it was 3pm.est they claimed I owed back taxes I told them oh no! I paid my taxes they threatened to have me arrested 30 minutes after the phone call I said no way!if you do that I will call my attorney and Sue the hell out of you he got upset I hung up and dualed 911 the dispatcher have me the toll free number for the real IRS in Washington DC and that number is 800-366-4484 folks write it down and if these two **** call back using the 646-448-0358 number write it down and report it the real IRS does not call you on the phone about your taxex or debts they send you s letter please remember that and give them no information by phone

I GOT A RECORDED CALL FROM THIS NUMBER SAYING THERE WAS A WARRANT FOR MY ARREST FOR TAX FRAUD. I CALLED THEM RIGHT BACK. A FELLOW WITH A THICK FOREIGN ANSWERED SAYING "IRS, HOW MAY I HELP YOU?" I GAVE HIM A HUGE PIECE OF MY MIND, AND HE HUNG UP ON ME, LOL!

They have called before with the same message but with different phone numbers.

Officer Green Shoshone Police Department

The agents answering this number Chris Williams and James Williams are claiming to be brothers in the same department. These so-called agents are trying to get people to send them money for back taxes. When I challenged them asking what tax year is in question or what deduction is in error. They stated I have two options, either pay them a lump sum to stay out of court or I will be arrested. When I asked how I was to pay they said to go to the Target Department Store and purchase a $ 2,900.00 voucher, and sent it to them. (REALLY!) I continued to ask them more questions inquiring they're badge numbers which they had to look up and when I asked again they gave me a different combination of numbers from the same agency. (649371 and J3409) I asked for a supervisor, but they would not provide one. At one point James became so agitated with my questions he started calling me names and threatened to put me in jail. (Real Professional) Please do not be fooled by these amateur scam artists. Tell your family and friends about this type of scam and challenge them, it's your right!!!
