The ripped me off for $725 my entire unemployment check and also wiped out my debit card. I don't have anymore money for 2 weeks and I had to walk home 8 miles with my 9 year old because I didn't have enough money to get a lyft back home. I tried contacting iTunes it was too late and my bank said that most likely they won't be able to retrieve the funds because it went to the gift cards. I got a police report but I know I'm screwed. I wish I would have read this first

Yes, I'm afraid it is. My sister, who has been on medical leave due to disability has been struggling financially. A caller from this number extended an offer of a $5,000.00 loan. She didn't say anything to anyone about this, she simply began following directions. Before they could "fund," she would need to pay $250.00 for a processing fee. To do this, he requested she purchase iTunes gift cards and call him back with the card numbers and PINs. She did. She waited 20 minutes as directed (long enough for him to drain the cards), but no money was put in her bank account. She became very upset when she called back and he claimed that his supervisor said that they couldn't deposit the funds without an additional "service fee" of $450.00. She had literally used her last dime to pay the "processing fee." By the time she told me about this, it was too late, the iTunes cards had been used. As I predicted when she mentioned the idea of calling back, the line was busy, and further attempts resulted in no answer when the phone rang. Horrible.

Was your sister able to recoup any of her money? Bank of America told me they won't be able to when I filed my claim. And I got a police report, contacted the BBB, iTunes and Target none were able to help me.

Calls coming in from this number ( but not with the 1+, so it doesn't seem to be the Canada number), say approved for a $3000 loan and to dial number. So far, have received about 6 calls with a ROBO call, then one leaving a message. Other number to look for is 209 235 6888. We have not applied for any loans.
