When I asked were they got my phone number from the caller tried avoiding the answers this way or another. The caller referred to Tesla’s investments research.

Called the business I am the receptionist at and asked to speak to one of our senior engineers, claiming to be from orion and that they were expanding into New Zealand. I said he was not available and I could take a message, they hung up

Number called and asked for me by name, I didnt confirm it was me speaking but first asked what the call was in regard to. They replied 'are you (my name)?' I said no but that I could fetch them if they told me what it was about. They said 'oh we're calling from a company called Orion in New York, she knows what it is about'. Needless to say I know nothing about them! I told them I didnt know who they were and they hung up. SCAMMERS!

Claimed to be from Global Finanical Advisors Group.com, a chap called Mark had my name and was trying to talk to me about Tesla, but I quickly shut him down when the website he gave me failed to work, he promptly ended the call. Number has been blocked.

They are relentless and have been calling me for over two years at all times of the day and night. I have received death threats from 4 of the calls. Have had Telstra tracing the calls for over a month now and they will be contacting the Federal Police in the near future

Called us on our business line which is diverted from our landline. All mobiles and landline are on the "do not call" register in Australia which prohibits callers who are not legitimate or who are covered by the Australian legislation as exempt. As soon as this woman indicated she wanted to speak to my husband I stated we were not interested in scamming/phishing phone calls and unless they wanted the services our business offers take our number of their list. Before I could finish the woman hung up. Call came from New York in USA.
