Made a mistake and replied a FB form. they called me and started asking personal questions. It felt bad, just like It did with Who's who. Then I told her that she should send the questions by email as I am done answering her. She replied that I am expected to converse with people and she will stop my application.... :-)

I'm based in the Netherlands, since yesterday I am receving phone calls from 3 different US (NY) numbers. (929 382247, 646 8666779, 929 382 2472) Never answered them. I've sent them a message in dutch with one recognizable word, STOP. I hope it stops these annoying phone calls.

oday I received a call from this number. (646)866 6779. The name of the man was speaking was John. He told me about an application to be part of WBN (Women Business Network) that they have been advertising in LinkedIn, he asked me about my profile, my professional experience and some personal information. At the end he confirmed to me that I was accepted to be member and he told me that they will send me an email with the information so I can initiate in the network. And that I have to pay 799USD for a lifetime membership or I can select a plan for 5 years paying 599USD... I reject to pay anything and I ask him to send me an email with the information. I have not received any information. I would like to warn you about this kind of fraud. Be alert to avoid these situations. It is important to prevent targeted advertising, fraud, and identity theft because of personal information is used when browsing LinkedIn.

I Dont Want Any

They are now blocked. Yes it is a solicitation from a Linked-In ad for a business recognition membership. I knew better and did it anyway. They called today at 9:12am, 10:43am, 12:14am, 12:15am, 1:45pm and 3:16pm. Give me a break!

Hello, I had the exact same phone conversation today, my lifetime membership started out at $999 and when I said that I didn't have my credit card on me the price started to go down. I told the lady, Stacey Miller that I would need to call her back, she gave me the number of 1-866-352-2387 after telling me that many people were waiting and she could not promise that same opportunity. I advise that I still need to wait.. and she finally offered me a $200 membership stating that I could upgrade at any time and agree for me to call her back. Wow, the devil comes to steal, kill and destroy... But NOT THIS ONE and NOT THIS TIME!

I have been called multiple times from the +1 646 866 6779 number as well as a +51 67 262 096 (peru!!) number with pressure to sign up and the request for an upfront USD990- lifetime membership to activate my membership. The disappointment is that this link was also received via LikedIn. Be VERY careful as it confirms similar misgivings by others

Gracias por compartir, yo recuerdo haber solicitado unirme a un grupo con ese nombre en Linkedin de lo mas normal, el nombre suena atractivo pero nunca mencionan que debes pagar. Hoy me llamaron y la llamada duro como 20 minutos, te dan la bienvenida y bueno cuando me cobraron les pedí un mail para entender todo, y muy grosera me respondió que no había nada que leer. Yo hablo ingles y las cantidades las decía de una manera tan espantosa para que no entendiera. No caigan.
