Called my office number, asked my receptionist for me by name. Once the call was transfered to me, the asked if they were speaking to (MY First Name, Last Name) and once I stated yes, they hung up on me. Tried calling back the number 650-437-8282 all I could hear was music. No one ever answered even after 10 minutes on the phone.

I answered my business line and said "Hi _____ speaking". They repeated my name back and asked if I could confirm that was my name. I said yes, and they hung up. Glad I only said my first name. Funny part is you need to dial a 6 digit extension to get through to my line, so I am not sure how they got it.

customer called my direct line at work - knew my full name asked me if I was (name) then stated her name was Mary and mumbled something else and immediately disconnected the call. tried to call back and it rings then music. No one answers

Same experience. I picked up my corporate phone and answered as normal. She asked if she was speaking to <me>. I said yes, she mumbled something then said "Thank you!!!" and hung up. I forsee many marketing calls in my future :(

So this person just called our office twice. Asked for me as mentioned above with Mary and Andy. It was a guy and I have no idea what he was besides asking if he was speaking to me. Mumbled and hung up. I called back listened to the music for a while and then a recording came on to leave a message....I screamed like a mad person demanding that they discontinue the calls. I'm sure the calls will continue but if felt good.
