This number called me twice within two minutes of each other to leave the following message: "Hello. This is Kathy calling from the underwriting department regarding your Capital One credit card account. Based on your recent payment activity and balance, you may be eligible for an interest rate reduction to as low as 1.9%. There is additional information I need to confirm your eligibility, so please return my call directly in the underwriting department at 1-800-399-0043. Once again 1-800-399-0043. This will be the only notice you receive and this offer is only valid for three business days. Thank you." 2 problems: 1) I received 2 identical calls from the same number within a minute of each other, (so this was NOT the only notice I received and 2) I do not have a Capital One credit card, or any credit card for that matter. My number has been on the DNC list since November 2015 and my voicemail clearly tells telemarketers that I am on DNC list and they are NOT to call me again or they will be reported. Since they have decided not to heed my warning, they have been reported to FTC DNC.

This number called me at 3:27pm and again at 3:28pm on Oct 18, 2018 and left the following message: “Hello. This is Kathy calling from the underwriting department regarding your capital one credit card account. Based on your recent payment activity and balance, you may be eligible for an interest rate reduction to as low as 1.9%. There is additional information I need to confirm your eligibility, so please return my call directly in the underwriting department at 1-800-399-0043. Once again, 1-800-399-0043. This will be the only notice you receive and this offer is only valid for three business days. Thank you…” This identical message was recorded TWICE within the span of a minute. 1) I have received 2 calls about this, so this is not my ONLY notice, and 2) I have never had a Capital One credit card and I don't use credit cards. These people need to get a life already and stop calling numbers on the DNC list about bogus offers. I have been on the DNC list since Nov 2015 and my voicemail clearly warns telemarketers not to call me again or they will be reported. They were warned...and they have been reported.

Automated Capital One scammer call about my recent card payments and trying to get me a payment reduction when I don't have a Capital One card. Come to think of it, I don't own any credit cards. I don't need a fake card to buy things with fake money that I need to have real money to pay back later. Credit is a scam itself. Do like me people, buy gold and bury it were no one can get to or become president of a trucker's union and keep your money on the buried bodies in the backyard. Just don't get credit cards, student loans, or the herpes.
