“Officer Ryan Smith” with a heavy Indian accent demands you call back the SSA, which is MOT located in California where this number is. They’re basically trying to get your info for credit reports, etc... I gave them a fake name and SS# when I called back and they said they find all sorts of stuff on me.... please call out these people and then block them. It’s a cell phone and hopefully the provider will take away they’re privileges soon.

like the old IRS scam, they want you to call with hopes of getting your SS#. I usually call back pretending to be elderly and offer to turn myself in. saying I'm exhausted from running and sitting the curb waiting for them to pick me up. adding that I just need food and a good night's sleep. They either hang up or try to calm me down... it sometimes gets realy interesting. Calls probably spoofed out of asia.

This is the "new" and known scam going around, telling people that it's the social security office calling because they are going to soon have legal action taken against them unless they call the number back. The FEDS have already said the SS office doesn't call you, they surely don't have thick overseas accents, and they don't threaten legal action over the phone on a voicemail. Scam.

They call me all the time, but i never answer the calls. They even have the guts to leave a message . I blocked them al the time and they change numbers. I even contact the SS offices and they told me they never call and if they need me for any reason they will send letters. How can we stop this non sense?
