They threatened to garnishment of my wages. and reposes my car. (Scam call) reported by


They read out my first and last name and my D.O.B. They stated that they are ALLIANCE RECOVERY NLC. They representing CITI BANK for a $10,000.00 delinquent account.They said, If I pay right the way . They will reduce to $4,000.00 and forgive the rest. An attorney have working on my case with judgement against me. And if I do not pay right the way then will garnish my wages and what ever money I have the next day.I ask them to send me their written document so I can verify with the creditor before I pay anything at all. Then they hang up on me. I call back to ask more questions a couple of times, but they stop pick up the phone. I think they have figured out that have wasted so much time on me, because I acted really dump and take so much of their times on the phone.

Threatened to detain me and wanted my current address and place of business. Offered no way to give information but just said it was my final warning and hung up. While this definitely looks like a scam I dont see what they could get out of it

Caller leaves long voicemails (4) that all instruct to call back 757-975-8025 with reference number HPL1206. Threatens to "track me down", contact my "place of business" or "human resources department" if I do not call back and rectify the issue with their clients. Never mentions what the "issue" but in one of the voicemails threatens that I will be detained. In only one of the voicemails they identified themselves as the "Internal Revenue Branch."

Stated was being sued from a check from 9 years ago. When contacted the company they disclosed to me no such check exists.
