got a call from this number , caller ID said Buford Georgia . Had to answer twice before computer connected with an open operator . Guy asked how are you ? Told me his name [ it was Stan btw ] , and started in on his script about the poor veterans and he was calling on their behalf etc etc . He was doing the usual talking so fast and loud you can't speak . I finally yelled into the phone and he stopped . I told him his charity wasn't what the caller ID said and I wasn't going to give money to someone who's caller ID says something different than what they're selling . I get these calls 20-30 times a week and it's always the same thing . vague caller ID , robo call , call center fast talker who's always sure I agree with their pitch , won't let you speak , etc . Anyone can call from anywhere and claim to be representing anything . I don't help any unsolicited claims over the phone from people I don't know , from numbers I don't know , who never stop pestering us with one BS claim after another . I'd rather refuse a real charity than reward a scamming **** . I don't mind telling them so either and neither should you .

Autodialer with "interactive" robo-speaker. Didn't stay on long enough to find out what was being sold. BTW, my number is on the DNC.

My last name is pretty rare and there are less than 50 Breville's in the world. I know of a distant cousin named Andre who lives in the DC area. I've never met him, but believe he has some type of social issue that may prevent him from regular type of work. I can imagine him trying to work at some form of phone job, but he doesn't have the capacity to be the organizer of any type of scam.
