Thought was scam. Called Piedmont directly and they confirmed it's Piedmont Business Office. Talked to them multiple times since we've been paying on bills. Please do call them. They are very helpful in trying to figure out all those charges. Don't pay your bill through the PatientCo portal. Call Piedmont Business Office directly and tell them which bills to apply your money. The portal will automatically redistribute your payment to oldest physicians charges first then any hospital charges. So, like us, you think are paying one thing and it's redistribution to another bill so it looks like you haven't paid. That's completely horrid and confusing. Also, found out that the charges in PatientCo portal may not be accurate since they dump charges that are still pending insurance into your total. So, calling the Business Office is best to figure out this neanderthal way of billing. Hope our pain and suffering through this process helps.

I received several calls from this number. I had a recent hospital stay at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta, received a paper bill and set up payments using their patient portal. I have been making payments since then. When I started received calls from this number, I reached out to Piedmont directly - rather than calling the number back. They said it is their billing office number. I told them I didn't understand why I was receiving multiple calls about an outstanding balance I had been making payments towards in a payment plan set up through their payment portal. They said I should no longer receive calls from that number.
