Lady by the name of Elizabeth called for a person who is not an employee with my company. They asked for a different name and provided a case number. I'm in Chicago and this number came up for Georgia. Sound weird and just wanted to check to see if anyone has ever experience this.

Called me a few times and left voicemails regarding a case, a claim and charges being brought against me, I blocked the number then received a text message regarding the same info from similar number... blocked the text number. Called back the original number, lady (Elizabeth) wouldn't give her name kept asking me what number I was calling from. Told her this was my number not her business asked her what she was calling in regard to. She kept asking me for my number and I kept saying no, you tell me what you're calling for.... She hung up on me. I had some free time so I just kept calling her back and letting her voicemail answer and hung up until it ticked her off. Tables turned... What's wrong Elizabeth don't want to chat???

Called my # asking for daughter for legal case. Had last 4 ss#, first of bank #, county. Identified themselves as her credit union. Scary scam. Be aware!!! Contacted CU..They said fishing. Watch accounts.

legal threat (Nuisance call) reported by


I had this woman call from this number and leave a VM saying I had legal charges against me in my County had last 4 of my SSN and last 4 of my bank account. Also said that I needed to get back to her with my representative to discuss my legal matter. She’s also been calling all members of my family leaving the same messages to them. I’ve been getting these calls for a while I ignore them if someone from my state needed to get a hold of my for a legal matter they’d serve me legal papers by a sheriff. My advice is to anyone getting these research the number calling and under no circumstances give out your personal information to anyone, scammers are coming up with new ways daily so don’t fall for it no matter how scary or threatening the messages sound.

This just happened to me yesterday smh they texted my mom and I called to process payment out of fear. I called back today to ask about my confirmation email and I was given a fake name when she picked up but told me yesterday this was her direct line.

I had the same thing happen to me on 11/16/18 with the same script left on my vm I called and could tell immediately she was lying. It's obvious she is scamming people. BEWARE and don't give her any more of your information! I’m glad that I did my research first and found out that it was a scam thank you.

This out of state number called and left a message with the last 4 of my social stating that they needed information from me because charges were being filed against me in my county. The woman caller stated she needed personal information as well as the contact info for my attorney who will be representing me. She ended the call saying I needed to return the phone call within 24 hours and that “you have been notified...”. I am worried for someone who might think this is real. Do not give them any information! This is not how you are contacted if you have charges or lawsuits filed against you. Especially from an out of state number. If you have any concerns as to whether or not the “charges” are real, please contact your county courthouse.

I had the same issue happen to me on 09/4/18 with the same script left on my vm I calle called and messed with her for a min she mentioned that she calls thousands of people on a Daily basis so she’s water making a lot of money or she’s taking peoples identity. I will be honest she has accurate information even my old bank account, account number an I was nervous but I’m glad that I did my research first and found out that it was a scam thank you.
