Debt collector asked me to identify myself when they called me said they couldnt give me any info until i confirmed and we went around for several minutes and she said well i guess we're at an impass i said yep and hung up. I then recieved a letter a few days later regarding Century link bill where century link didnt update theyd recieved my returned equipment and were trying to charge me when i have tracking proof they did so **** nothing but issues and wasted hours every month and 6 months after canceling them

Asked for me, I acknowledged, then asked for me to state my address and SS# for verification. I said No, you called me. She then said that she couldn't verify my identity and talk to me without my address and social. I said okay, and she tried saying again that she needed the info to assist me, and I said no, and she hung up.

Did they send you a letter in the mail or did they just keep calling you? They asked me for my address and when I wouldn't give it to them they said we'll send you a letter. It's like then why are you asking me for my adddress?
