Something about check fraud for wells Fargo Bank account over almost 5yrs ago. I told them to contact my lawyer and was hung up on. The lady was rude and would continue to try and talk over me

Fake Collections Asking for Bank Information (Scam call) reported by K. Max
They have my full, legal name and last 4 of my social security number. Wanted me to verify the rest of it as well as bank account information. The did "sound" official but something seemed "off" and when I questioned who they were they became rude. Said they were collection company for a payday loan and threw in a bunch of threats. I have NEVER used a payday loan. When I said so, they hung up on me. I checked all credit reports to ensure nobody had taken one in my name... They have since called every phone number ever associated with me. My best guess is that they pull some sort of background report(s) and use them (with just enough info) to trick people into paying off collection debt that they dont have -or- Use it to trick people into filling in enough of the blanks that they can then use the info to create false identity/fraud.

They left no message so I called the number back and it just rang then I got a recording that said the person I'm trying to contact is unavailable at this time to try back later.

They're calling everyone in my family looking for me, but not calling my number... I called them back and asked to have all our numbers removed

called my family looking for me as well , I asked for my daughter number to be removed. I ask who was calling I only got Global they wanted to know the phone that was called no other info given unless you give them information
