I receive at least 3 calls from this number a day. They say they are calling for Spectrum (not true) when I ask for them to remove me from their list, they curse and hang up. I've reported the number and now have blocked them.. Beware, this is a scam

This number calls our office 2-3 times a day. claiming that AT&T is sending out technicians to work on the lines. We have asked to be removed from the list several times. They continue to call every day.

Woman claiming to be calling from AT&T, said they were sending a tech out and needed to speak to the person in charge of the account. I have heard this song and dance before and asked if she was really calling from AT&T. She copped an attitude with me and said "you WILL put that person on the phone NOW!" I told her a) if she wanted to speak to that person she needed to use her grownup manners and b) that person was with a customer and she needed to give me a callback number. She started screaming at me and told me "we don't have a [censored] direct line!" Wrong answer. Bye.

Claim to be AT&T Rep they have techs out in my area because AT&T is doing away with landlines. They are not part of AT&T but they are a pain!

UNWANTED SOLICITATION (Telemarketer) reported by


EVERY SINGLE DAY someone from this number calls our work number and say they are calling on behalf of AT&T and instantly tell you they are sending a technician out to do some work on our phone lines. They ask if you are in charge of the AT&T account and I say yes and they proceed to tell you that this work on the lines is mandatory. I usually hang up when I see the number on the screen, however, last week I asked what kind of work they were doing on our lines and she put me on hold and got a "technician" on the line to explain and he said that b/c we are removing a line they needed to do this work and that it was mandatory (once again). I asked him who told you we were removing a line b/c we are not removing any phone lines and he said "Oh, I'm sorry. We will remove you from the call list." That afternoon we had issues with our phone lines and they still call EVERY SINGLE DAY.

SCAM call to computer information (Scam call) reported by


Phone number calls and says they are with ATT. They say they will have technicians coming to service the line for your number. They then proceed to ask if you are in charge. When you say yes they try to get you to go to a website and go through a lot of steps that give them access to your computer login and information once you access their system. They are not affiliated with ATT at all. I have called ATT to confirm it is not legitimate.

He informed AT&T would be out to work on our telephone lines and that he needed to talk to who would be in charge of that. Then, without waiting for my reply, he hung up!
